Toyota Avanza Review and Specifications

Toyota Avanza is an upcoming model of Toyota in Indian market. It will be a mini-Innova from Toyota for Indian customers, the shape of the car looks like MUV and SUV too. Recently Toyota has launched Etios, now Toyota is planning to launch Avanza in the upcoming year (early 2011). It was first sold in Thailand and got good responses from customers. It will be smaller than the Innova. It is expected to be 20-25% cheaper than its bigger sibling.

The Company has unveiled petrol version of Avanza but there are rumors that it is also planning to launch diesel version. It will be a third vehicle to its IMV (Innovative International Multi-purpose Vehicle) line-up in the country after Innova and Fortuner.

Exterior – it comes with stylish exterior design. The curves and sharp line on its body adds beauty for the car. Head and fog lamps look sporty. It looks very similar to Toyota Innova from front side. It comes with six spoke 15 inch alloy wheels. The 180mm of ground clearance will make you comfort even in bumpy roads. The smartly designed indicators and body colored bumpers looks elegant. Overall the exterior of it is cleverly designed to meet up typical Indian taste.

Interior – It will come with 5 and 7 door options. It will be a five or seven seater. It is anticipated to give enormous space for driver and occupants. The dashboard of this SUV is will be covered with instrumental panel. The two tone beige with quality seats is also expected in this SUV. You will not get audio control option on the four spoke steering. The luggage box gives sufficient room to carry your luggage. Toyota Fortuner Interior, Exterior and Specifications

Toyota’s premium Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) Fortuner was launched in 2005. Initially it was launched in Thailand; later on it was introduced in other countries like Indonesia, India and many more. The four-wheel drive, is designed by the engineers from Japan and Thailand, based on Toyota Hilux pick-up truck platform. Toyota launched the Fortuner in India in 2009, the model became very much successful and the company had stopped the booking orders for time being due to over demand. The vehicle broke the record of sales and stats of pre-delivery. The seven seat vehicle has muscular body with well-built interiors and dynamic exteriors. Currently, there is only one variant available in India that comes with the displacement of 2982 cc diesel engine with five speed manual gear transmission. The available colors are grey mica metallic, light blue metallic, black mica, super white and silver mica metallic. Toyota Fortuner price in India is somewhere near 19 lac rupees.

Toyota Fortuner Engine and Specifications

The Fortuner is powered with a 3.0 Liter diesel engine with the displacement of 2982 cc. The diesel engine has TDCI D-4D DOHC technology that has the capacity to churn out the maximum power of 161 bhp at the rate of 3400 rpm and maximum torque of 343 nm at the rate of 1400 rpm. Its engineered and designed with four-wheel drive configuration. The exterior measures 4695mm in length, 1845mm in width, 1850mm in height and wheelbase of 2750mm.

Fortuner Performance
