Since the year of 1970′s, Honda has been pioneering the development of low emissions, high-fuel efficiency vehicles. The first generation Honda Insight was launched in 1999 to meet technological challenges and since then, Honda’s ongoing pursuit in advanced technology has led to further developments of next-generation hybrid technologies.
The All-New Honda Insight, introduced recently by Malaysia Honda, pioneers a new era of affordability of hybrid vehicles, creating a new market value for compact hatchback entry hybrid vehicles. Compared with the previous generation’s Insight technology, the roomier interior is made possible thanks to an improved Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) system that incorporates an Intelligent Power Unit (IPU) that is 19% smaller and 28% lighter, now placed beneath the rear cargo area. This allows you as a driver to enjoy more space when the 60:40 seats are folded to a full flat seat, while the cargo accommodates up to 3 golf bags neatly.
In addition to its unique touches to make every day driving more fun and practical, the All-New Honda Insight helps drivers realise its full potential in both performance and fuel economy as well. You are bound to be more a more attentive driver with the Eco Assist which incorporates various functions that helps you improve your mileage. The G-Force Control technology (ECON) button harmonises a range of controls to help you save more energy and fuel while the speedometer changes colour from blue to green, immediately showing you if you are driving fuel efficiently.
